Brand Manager (B2B, Food & Beverage Industry)

Job Title: Brand Manager
Scope: The Brand Manager will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and management of the Azure product portfolio on a B2B Level 3 scale. This includes developing and implementing an innovative, competitive, and sustainable product range in alignment with the company’s business strategy (BUDPA). The role will collaborate closely with global teams to manage assortment, pricing, supply chain, and business development initiatives, aiming to drive revenue growth and market share.
Responsibilities:
Yearly Planning & Strategy:
- Define and execute an annual strategic plan for the product groups (B2B Level 3) within the assigned area based on the BUDPA framework.
- Align product development and business activities with the overall business unit strategy, focusing on innovation, pricing, and growth initiatives.
Product Development & Innovation:
- Develop and implement a competitive product range in Azure, ensuring its alignment with the market and business development strategies.
- Lead growth initiatives and product innovation to maintain competitiveness in the marketplace.
Global Coordination & Collaboration:
- Work closely with global product managers to integrate global BUDPA priorities into regional strategies.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across the global matrix organization to ensure the smooth execution of business and product development actions.
Revenue & Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor product revenue, sales activities, and market share using key performance indicators.
- Identify and implement improvement measures in collaboration with the sales team to enhance revenue performance.
Customer Feedback & Product Lifecycle Management:
- Define success metrics for the product portfolio and gather customer feedback to influence product roadmap and lifecycle management.
- Continuously analyze product usage to optimize performance and customer satisfaction.
Market Analysis & Pricing Strategy:
- Collaborate with R&D, Market Segments, Pricing, and Sales teams to determine product portfolio and pricing strategies.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for product innovation and development.
Sales Support:
- Engage in customer visits, projects, and briefings to share product knowledge and market insights as part of the Long-Term Opportunity (LTO) process.
- Provide support to the sales team by sharing expertise on specific products and market conditions.
Internal & External Communication:
- Ensure up-to-date portfolio updates are communicated through internal media (Portal) and external media (D-Portal) in coordination with the marketing team.
- Provide in-house training to develop a deeper understanding of the product portfolio across departments.
Margin Management & Pricing Adjustments:
- Actively manage margin structures within product groups, collaborating closely with the Pricing team to initiate necessary adjustments (Stop-Swap strategy).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Product Management, or a related field.
- From 1 to 5 years of experience in product management, Brand management, or marketing in the food and beverage industry.
- Proven experience in developing and managing innovative and competitive product portfolios.
- Strong understanding of business development, pricing strategies, and market analysis.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication skills with experience in customer-facing roles.
- Ability to conduct market and competitive analysis to drive product innovation.
- Fluency in English is a must.
