IT Sales Team Leader

Job Summary:-
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Sales Team Leader with 3–5 years of experience in IT solutions sales and a strong ability to manage and motivate a sales team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IT security solutions such as Sophos, Fortinet, Kaspersky, Bitdefender, and ESET, as well as familiarity with hardware solutions from Dell, HP, and Lenovo. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a proven ability to achieve sales targets, and the technical acumen to drive business growth in both software and hardware sales.
Key Responsibilities:-
Team Leadership:
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of IT sales representatives to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Conduct regular training and performance reviews to enhance the team’s selling skills and product knowledge.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture within the sales team.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies for both software and hardware solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
Client Engagement and Solution Selling:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their IT needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of IT security solutions (Sophos, Fortinet, Kaspersky, Bitdefender, and ESET) and hardware offerings from Dell, HP, and Lenovo.
- Work closely with technical teams to deliver product demonstrations and create compelling proposals for clients.
Market Research and Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in IT security and hardware solutions.
- Provide insights and recommendations to clients and the sales team based on market research and product knowledge.
Target Achievement:
- Drive the sales team to achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Implement incentive programs to motivate and reward top performers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in IT solutions sales, including software and hardware solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in IT sales.
- Expertise in IT security solutions: Sophos, Fortinet, Kaspersky, Bitdefender, ESET.
- Familiarity with hardware solutions: Dell, HP, Lenovo.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
