Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Technical Support Engineer with a strong background in networking and cybersecurity to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience providing technical support, including installations, remote support, on-site support, and conducting network surveys and sizing for clients. This role requires exceptional communication skills, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver solutions effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support:
- Provide remote and on-site support to clients for troubleshooting network and cybersecurity issues.
- Perform installations, configurations, and maintenance of hardware and software solutions for clients.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
Client Engagement and Support:
- Conduct network surveys and sizing for clients, understanding their needs and recommending tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with the services provided.
- Provide technical training and guidance to clients to optimize the use of solutions.
Cybersecurity and Networking:
- Implement and support network and cybersecurity solutions, ensuring robust protection against threats.
- Monitor and assess client systems to identify potential vulnerabilities and propose solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in networking and cybersecurity to provide cutting-edge solutions.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of installations, support activities, and network configurations.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on support activities, network surveys, and client feedback to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical support with expertise in networking and cybersecurity.
- Proven experience in installations, remote support, on-site support, and network surveys and sizing for clients.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewall configurations, and cybersecurity tools.
- Hands-on experience with network design and implementation.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
