About the Role: Project Coordination in Translation and Localisation
Your role as Project Coordinator is vital in ensuring the smooth execution of translation and localisation projects across continents. You’ll be relied on for your organisational skills, project management capabilities, and your drive to deliver on promises—making real impact on how people, ideas, and businesses connect.
Key Responsibilities: Project Delivery, Communication & Collaboration
- Coordinate multilingual projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery for clients worldwide.
- Serve as the main point of contact between clients, linguists, and internal teams, ensuring clear, proactive communication throughout every phase of each project.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address any risks or bottlenecks to maintain high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Update and maintain project management tools and files, ensuring records are accurate and accessible for team collaboration.
- Support resource allocation and scheduling, matching the right talent to the right tasks within project timelines.
- Help streamline workflows and contribute ideas for continuous improvement within the project management process.
- Assist in preparing proposals, reports, and presentations for both clients and internal stakeholders, as required.
Essential Skills & Qualifications for Project Coordination
- 1-3 years’ experience in project coordination, project administration, or related roles—experience in the localisation or translation industry is advantageous.
- Strong command of the English language; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a talent for conveying information clearly and professionally.
- High proficiency with project management software, MS Office suite, and familiarity with CAT tools such as Trados is beneficial.
- Outstanding time management, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise competing tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and a collaborative attitude—ready to foster positive working relationships with internal and external partners.
