About the Role

The Head of IT will be responsible for leading the organization’s overall technology function, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of all IT systems and operations. This role is critical in aligning technology with business objectives, driving digital transformation, and delivering reliable IT services that support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

IT Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy in alignment with overall business goals.

• Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership on all technology-related matters.

• Lead the IT function and ensure technology initiatives support operational and commercial priorities.

• Build and manage a high-performing IT team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Infrastructure & Systems Management

• Oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software systems.

• Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of all IT systems and services.

• Manage enterprise applications and ensure smooth system integration across departments.

• Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of ERP and other business-critical systems.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

• Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and controls.

• Ensure strong cybersecurity practices to protect company systems, networks, and data.

• Monitor and mitigate IT risks, vulnerabilities, and potential threats.

• Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity measures related to IT operations.

• Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and data protection requirements.

Digital Transformation & Innovation

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity through technology and automation.

• Lead digital transformation initiatives across the business.

• Evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance business performance and support growth.

• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous development within the IT function.

Operations, Budgeting & Vendor Management

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations and service delivery to ensure business continuity.

• Establish IT policies, governance frameworks, and service standards.

• Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value-driven investments.

• Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and technology partners.

• Monitor IT performance through KPIs, reporting, and service metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with internal departments to understand business needs and deliver effective technology solutions.

• Support operational excellence through system improvements and process optimization.

• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Operations, and Commercial teams on business and technology initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

• Proven experience leading IT operations, infrastructure, systems, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Strong background in managing ERP systems and enterprise applications.

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or product-based environments is a strong advantage.
